Any kind of insulation that can handle an island?
My house was just raised 4 feet on concrete piers. It has the original hard wood floors intact……After removing about 5 layers of flooring and plywood. They are now refinished. There is absolutly no insulation between the floor and the sand. Is there any type of underneath insulation that can withstand heat humidity and all the other issues a salt water climate.
My buddy has a house on stilts. He just used regular fiberglass insulation. He then put metal sheathing (AL) on to hold it all in place it looks really nice.
